the music in the video is a remaking of the GW1 and pre searing music. Still cool though.

PS: we want the option to change login screens PLS!!

I hope they can mix up monsters so you get different groups in different areas at different times, etc rather than the same mobs all the time. One of the boring things about GW chapters has been knowing that the same group will be on the same patrol route, etc, etc.

Perhaps this will force players to make some good "other than fire" builds in GWEN? I've always been annoyed with only using fire to beat a mission.

It seem like most people have never heard of the Ranger skill "Winter"

Enhanced AI = winter will survive for about 15 seconds Hell, the titans in Hell's Precipice like to kill it given an opportunity and they aren't the smartest eggs in the basket.

This would only be true if Winter didn't have the huge area-of-effect it enjoys now. Therefore, it would take a Winter-nerf from ANET to make this happen. Seasoned players know how to plant spirits well away from front-line combat.

It would be awesomely cruel if the dungeons were randomly generated(with a blank map apart from your compass) to stop people from just using wiki to find their way out and depending solely on the guide NPC.

One last point about winter. It is a Prophecies only skill. So, yes it is possible that poster had not heard of it if (s)he doesnt have that chapter.

Just because it's the easiest build to run doesn't mean that it's not the most effective ele build. Let's see how helpful you feel if you try to wipe out a huge group of monsters, and your best 'AoE' spell is chain lightning. I've had this game for 2 years...I'll make another 'good build in GWEN' if GWEN includes some decent PvE skills for the other elements.

Way to miss the point. Enemies hugely resistant to fire damage. Read.Comprehend. post.

Am i missing something here or did you completely overlook the multiple posts about Winter too?

Theres always a good thing about foes who are resistant to fire damage... they almost always seem to take along Greater Conflagration, which just makes Winter all the more fun.

Taking bets Enhanced AI is the same AI 'boost' that came with HM. They just hope that with more damage/AoE people will interpret it as the AI targetting things more intelligently.

If they truly did work round the fact that Winter would just own any attempt to stop Fire Eles ruling PvE i can just see everyone switching to Earth Eles instead, possibly a few Water. I'm sure nobody will complain about the odd Ward against Harm/Melee/Elements/Stability with 4x Sandstorm/Eruption eles.
